Right in the middle of the Natural Park of Gredos in the south of the province of Ávila and in a village that is famed for its natural beauty and peace, is the rural cottage El Remanso de Gredos. This is a perfect place for a few days of peace and quiet where you can almost taste the perfection of the silence and where, if you've ever wanted to experience nature and the beauty of the countryside being in harmony, you can find the reality.
Every detail has been taken care of so that you don't have to take care of any details and where you are made to feel comfortable from the moment you enter into the house. Here you will have good company and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
The house itself is built on three floors; the first floor houses not only some of the guest rooms but also the salons where you can relax amidst colonial -style decor and where the wide panoramic windows take full advantage of the surrounding unsurpassable views. Every detail has been meticulously considered before inclusion into the ambience. There is also a large terrance from which to admire the view by day and the 360º view of the skies at night.
On the ground floor is the dining room and a large terrace where relaxed breakfasts can be enjoyed drinking in not only the excellent coffee but also the fabulous views. On this floor, there are also two rooms, one of them completely furnished for disabled guests.
The rest of the 8 rooms are all prepared for everything that you could need to make this a comfortable temporary home from home. The decoration has been carefully selected to maximise a feeling of wellbeing and out of the windows is the ever-present grandeur of the great outdoors - the magnificence of the Sierras de Gredos, just waiting to be explored.
